Micromarché Café
Quai à la Houille 9 Steenkoolkaai, 1000 BXL
(between Saint Cathrine and Yzer)

"With the help of several acoustic devices The Pitch navigates through sonic territories with a fairly unique approach and instrumentation. Their navigational tools are the exaltation of a clarinet, the bruteness of a pump organ, the colors of a vibraphone and the airy profoundness of a double bass. The quartet neither plays compositions nor do they improvise - they play music that is structured in such a way that it garantees a maximum of flexibility yet ensures an audible coherence of pitch and sound material. The result is a beautiful combination of Feldman-like-melodies and slowly evolving tapestries of layered colorful sumptuousness evoking feelings of timelessness and expansion."
John Brown (The Wire)

The Final Count Down meets The Never Ending Story: 15 endings of Heavy Metal songs

Friday, 15 May 2009
Zennestreet 17 rue de la Senne, 21:30
5 Øro donation

The amazingly amazing duo MoHa! end their giganticly gigantic europe-tour in Brussels.
They bring along their brand new release (MoHa! + TAPE THAT).

Anders Hana - guitar, keyboard + Morten J. Olsen - drums & supercollider 3.
Labels: Rune Grammofon, Gaffer Records

BBC online: "MoHa! offer a kind of arhythmically funky metal musique concrete, sourced from electric guitar, drums and a laptop."

Rune Grammofon: "Our favourite noise spastics. The Wire called the single an extremist hybrid between free improv, gutter electronics and darkwave scuzz and they have elsewhere simply been proclaimed the future of Norwegian rock."

Show is organised together with Q-O2!

WIEDER-Aufbau (re-construction) is a series of exhibition-events, where
I ask artists to rebuild work in a new context and set-up.
KAMMER-Musik (chamber-music) is a concert-concept, which believes in the mixability of styles and their audiences.
FREI-Zeit (leisure-time) ignores the borders between work and leisure.
